NBATV is looking to fill content this weekend and will have a day full of Orlando Magic games this Sunday. Here is a look at the schedule.

August is a dead time on the basketball calendar. Outside of WNBA games (which should be on TV a whole lot more), there is not a lot for the NBA to put on its personal TV channel, NBATV.

Like everyone else, the league is starving for content to put on the air. And there are only so many times you can replay the Golden State Warriors’ complete takedown of the Cleveland Cavaliers or replay games from the past season.

What is always fun about NBATV is their access to the library of classic games. It is the NBA. They should have the ability to play any game from any point in the league’s history.

When the Hardwood Classics series comes up showing classic games, it is always a fun treat. And with content so dry here in August, the league is doing more of that than ever. They are giving each team their own day to show their best and most classic games on NBATV.

The Orlando Magic will have their day Sunday and you will have the chance to watch some great games from Anfernee Hardaway, Shaquille O’Neal and Tracy McGrady. There are some notable omissions (we can review those later) and some notable games that Magic fans would probably like to see.

The only time unaccounted for in the 24-hour schedule is the 6:30-8:30 a.m. window. Neither the Spectrum guide nor the NBATV schedule has announced which game will be there.

That leaves us with the opportunity to speculate which game NBATV missed and should include . . . (although they will probably just replay a game they will play later in the day).

But the list NBATV has devised for their schedule is a good one. Here is what you will be able to watch starting at 6 a.m. on Sunday and when you can watch it. And, of course, you can always find highlights of classic Magic games in our Orlando Magic Daily Video Vault:
