Not even die hard NBA fans are familiar with Joe Ingles. When it comes to free agent small forwards, they are likely focused on his teammate, Gordon Hayward, and where he might end up. But the 29-year-old Ingles has recently found himself playing an important role for an up and coming Utah Jazz squad.

For Ingles, the eye-popping numbers do not appear on his stat sheet. He plays strong defense and has become an important role player for Utah. In the playoffs, Ingles was able to shut down former Magic guard J.J. Redick and propel his team into the second round.

For Orlando, Ingles could be a major boost on the bench. With younger players like Mario Hezonja and Jonathan Isaac sharing the floor with him on the second unit, Ingles can teach the young players and act as a mentor of sorts. He certainly could space the floor with his strong 3-point shooting.

Plus, coach Frank Vogel loves players who work hard on the defensive end. He may not put up flashy numbers, but Ingles is a glue guy who could help Orlando in a plethora of ways.
