2. Shawn Kemp
Shawn Kemp was a five-time All-Star with the Seattle SuperSonics and made three All-NBA Second Teams. He played there for eight of his 14 NBA seasons and was a member of the SuperSonics' 40th anniversary team. Despite entering the NBA as the youngest player at the time of the 1989 Draft, Kemp quickly rose through the NBA ranks.
By his second season, he was averaging 15 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1 steal, and 1.5 blocks per game. In 1996, Kemp and Gary Payton took the SuperSonics to their first NBA Finals run.
Just a year later, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he kept up his stellar play over three seasons. Neither Seattle nor Cleveland was where Kemp finished his NBA career, however. It was Orlando. Kemp signed with the Magic for the 2002-03 season. Despite playing his 1000th NBA game there and helping the team go to the playoffs, he just never looked quite right in a Magic jersey.
That was how he finished his NBA career, however, as his later attempts to make a comeback were unsuccessful. And yet, when someone thinks about Shawn Kemp, they will rarely think of him in a Magic jersey.
