The NBA season is off and running now.

Almost every team has had its chance to take the floor in the first two days of the regular season and the marathon is officially on. In 82 games, everyone will have a lot of answers about their teams and ultimately who wins the NBA championship.

For the Orlando Magic, the story of this season will come in their growth and how the team develops. It will come in the stars and potential stars that emerged.

There is a lot to watch for the Orlando Magic as they take the floor in the 2023 season. But there is plenty to watch elsewhere that will affect the Magic throughout the season.

Paolo Banchero certainly had that look on him with his 27-point effort to open his NBA career. He set some historic marks that put him in the same breath as LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, at least through one game.

The Magic and the development of their young players could really be one of the peripheral stories of the NBA season. There are a lot of teams already understanding the difficulties the Magic will present.

Everyone’s eyes will be on the Magic on the court. But there are tons of stories to follow for the Magic off the court. And it is going to be important to keep some of these in mind as we move through the season.

Orlando has a lot of things to watch throughout the season. And so we should watch them too.

These are the storylines that we are also watching as the season gets set to begin.
