Orlando Magic: 5 under-the-radar home games

Feb. 5 vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Orlando Magic played likely the most exciting game of the 2021 season in their last matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on May 1. That game ended in a Cole Anthony game-winner and nearly contributed to the Grizzlies missing the playoffs.

It was the epitome of hype when it came to young talent for the Magic.

Cole Anthony and R.J. Hampton played two of their best games of the entire season. They combined to have 44 points, 11 assists, 15 rebounds and five steals in leading a comeback from 17 points down to steal the win. The Magic will certainly be trying to copy those vibes and get another win in this matchup.

How that game ended will be the story heading into tipoff and Memphis will not soon forget the devastating loss.

This game will also give Orlando fans an opportunity to watch high-flying athletes such as Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and 10th overall pick Ziaire Williams. This matchup could be the beginning of a rivalry starting with a young Western Conference opponent.

At the moment, it feels like Orlando lacks any notable rivals to look forward to year in and year out.  This game provides the ability to start something special.
