Pick Analysis. G. Illinois. player. 481. Scouting Report. Ayo Dosunmu.

Ayo Dosunmu is the lone upperclassman on this list. NBA teams are sometimes scared off by juniors and seniors in the draft, but the Orlando Magic should take a hard look at Dosunmu.

At 21-years old, Dosunmu’s game is as mature as you would expect. He could have gone to the draft after last season, but he took the criticisms he received during the draft process and turned them into motivation.

He has really improved as a shooter and a passer. His numbers reflect that: 20.9 points per game, 5.2 assists per game, and 6.2 rebounds per game.

His late-season push for “Player of the Year” has put Illinois in a great position to make a deep postseason run. If they were to play in the Final Four or beyond, Ayo Dosunmu’s stock is going to jump even higher.

As of now, most boards have him going somewhere in the 20s. Do not be surprised if Dosunmu cracks the top 10 by mid-April.

Dosunmu would fit with most NBA teams and could plug in immediately with the Magic alongside Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony in the rotation. He is lethal in the open court and has won at all levels. For comparisons, think Colin Sexton level work-ethic, with a bigger frame.
