With All-Star voting set to open in December… who should the Orlando Magic push for a trip to Charlotte?

Rossman-Reich: Nikola Vucevic is the answer. He has put up career numbers and is the fulcrum for this offense. He does not create a lot of highlight plays, but he is just overall solid. I cannot say how many times I have looked at a box score where Nikola Vucevic put up 20 and 10 this year and said to myself, “Typical Nikola Vucevic line.” His consistency and his selflessness this year have been major turning points for the Magic. Orlando is much better with him on the floor this year.

Racine: The Magic should push for both Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon to make the All-Star team. Vucevic is having a spectacular year. He is averaging 21.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. Those are All-Star numbers. He is the catalyst of the Magic’s offense. If they need a bucket, they can go to him. Gordon is also having a good season. His numbers match up well against the other star forwards in the Eastern Conference. Gordon is averaging 16.1 points per game and 7.2 rebounds.

Flynn: I do not think there is really any other option other than Nikola Vucevic. Heading into this season I was hoping there would be a case for Aaron Gordon to be an All-Star. As of now he has shown glimpses of brilliance but has not been consistent enough to warrant an All-Star selection at this point. He can still make a charge if he kicks it into overdrive the next 20 games.
