What player do you think may disappoint this season?

Burnley: A big question for the team is whether or not D.J. Augustin can play at an appropriate level and, at the least, facilitate the development of the young guys on the roster. If he cannot, then the Orlando Magic really have some problems, as the team’s depth at point guard is disappointing, to say the least.

Palmer: I think I am going to go with Mohammed Bamba. Through no fault of his own, I believe fans may have placed unrealistic expectations for Bamba coming into this season and he will be hard-pressed to meet them. At this point, I think Bamba is probably easily defended at the NBA level and I am not sure his agility is as good as some fans think (suggestions he could play power forward feel a bit far-fetched ). Bamba is going to be fine this year in general, but I think fans have probably placed to high of an expectation on him for his first NBA season.

Rossman-Reich: I am really concerned about Jonathon Simmons personally. He had a career year last year and thrived in added opportunity. He will get all that opportunity again. But with his injury from the offseason, my biggest concern is he will not be ready to hit the ground running or carry the minutes load like he had last year. I felt like Simmons needed the summer to improve his basketball skill. He probably has the conditioning and stamina to make it, but Simmons needed that skills work too. It would not surprise me to see Simmons take a step back this year.

Racine: I think Mohamed Bamba may disappoint this season. He does not quite have the NBA body yet. He still needs to put on additional weight. I am not sure if he is ready physically or mentally to succeed in the NBA. But he is young and has plenty of time to develop.
