The Orlando Magic are well into their training camp as they prepare for the upcoming season. They have some big questions to answer as things get started.

The Orlando Magic are optimistic and hopeful about their season. Who wouldn’t be at the beginning of the season? This is a time to believe everything will go right and the team will head in the right direction.

Coach Steve Clifford is already putting his imprint on the team. His detail-oriented approach is resonating with players through the early days of camp. He told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel that Thursday was the best day of practice to date as he has loved the intensity, physicality and energy of the early days of camp.

The team is eagerly awaiting the start of the season.

Of course, no one will really know what kind of progress the team has made until the team takes on the Philadelphia 76ers in the preseason opener Monday. That will be a good checkup to see if the team is ready to play and just how well they have gotten the foundation of their offensive and defensive principles down pat.

That has been a big thing. Clifford likes to give out tests to make sure his players are paying attention. The preseason games will be better than any pop quiz he could give.

That will come in time. There are still a few questions left to answer as training camp winds down and preseason begins. There are only a precious few days until the regular season tips off. And the Magic have a limited amount of time to prepare.

As the team gets ready, we still have some big questions to ask about the upcoming season. Big questions and storylines that we will follow throughout the course of the next few weeks leading into the regular season.

How will the Magic respond? Let the Orlando Magic Daily staff answer those questions.
