The season is getting real now. What is getting you hyped up for the start of the season?

Henderson: The thing I am most excited about is this year is to see Mohamed Bamba play. He seems to be respected as a defender already throughout the NBA. Him combined with an improved jump shot from Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Issac are the elements of a successful first season for him. Bamba seems to have the utmost confidence in his defensive abilities, and the Magic have not had someone this confident since a young Dwight Howard entered the building. He seems like the type of player who will eventually win multiple defensive player of the year awards in his career, which has me hyped up to see how he fairs in year one.

Rossman-Reich: I am always excited by the prospects of being 0-0. I am a romantic in that way. I love the endless possibility a season brings. And I am an optimist. I know so many things have to go right for this team to experience Playoff success. There is a universe where that exists, but it is not likely to occur. I am not naive enough to believe that we exist in that universe. But if there was ever a time to be naive and believe in the impossible… August and September are the time to do it. I am really encouraged and excited by what Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac can do. I am excited to see Terrence Ross healthy. I am excited by Mohamed Bamba’s possibilities. Everything just gets me excited this time of year.

Racine: What is getting me hyped is the potential for growth next season. Jonathan Isaac has shown improvement and Jerian Grant could have a breakout season. Aaron Gordon is playing pick-up games against Kevin Durant and he starred in the movie Uncle Drew. Gordon might be ready to take his play on the court to the next level. He’s stardom off the court is definitely growing. Also, Mohamed Bamba has won the offseason on social media and he has a very popular song named after him. The hype train on Bamba is running and the Magic need to play him and he needs to do well.
