Best Game of 2018

April 8 vs. Toronto: 12 points, 5/8 FGs, 12 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 steals

This game may have meant the most for Khem Birch, who returned to his native Canada. The Montreal native scored 12 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in only 21 minutes.

Birch displayed his full offensive arsenal. He ran the floor on fast breaks, placed the ball on the floor and finished around the hoop. He even showed some savvy around the basket with a couple of acrobatic post moves.

Birch also had two steals in the game. He is more than just an athletic shot-blocker.

Against the Toronto Raptors, Birch displayed his potential as a double-double guy in the NBA.

This game toward the end of the season came in the middle of Birch’s most successful offensive run. Birch finished the year with six straight games scoring in double figures. It showed the variety in his game.

That along with his solid rebounding and defense made him a valuable tool for the Magic as the season came to a close. And certainly, a young prospect to keep investing in as the team moves forward.
