2017-18 Orlando Magic Player Evaluations: Terrence Ross
Best Game of 2018
Nov. 22 @ Minnesota: 22 points, 8/14 FGs, 3/8 3FGs, 6 rebounds
There were not many notable games for Terrence Ross this season. The injury does that to him.
His most memorable moment from the season was probably two turnovers he committed during a win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The comedy of errors to end that game was more befitting where the teams ended up rather than where they were at the time — the top two teams in the league.
Ross’ best scoring output came in this odd game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Orlando fell behind by 20-plus points in the second half only to storm back and make things interesting by the end. The Magic had a scoring onslaught in the fourth quarter and got within one score in the fourth quarter. They just ran out of time.
Ross was beginning to come out of that shooting slump at this time. He looked like he had found his footing and figured out just what the team needed him to do. Stringing together a few good shooting performances. That was exactly what Ross needed.
But he sensed he was not quite right either. This game ended up more of a blip on Ross’ radar. He would go to the bench a few games later. And then the injury would take over.
