Cody Martin, Nevada Wolfpack

Thursday vs. Loyola Chicago, 7:07 p.m./CBS

The Nevada Wolfpack completed back-to-back comebacks in their journey to the Sweet Sixteen. Their latest in historic fashion with a 22-point comeback over the 2-seed Cincinnati Bearcats.

Forward Cody Martin leads the Wolfpack with 14.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Against Cincinnati, Martin dropped 25 points, six rebounds and seven assists. The junior made his presence felt in every facet of the game and has taken the basketball world by storm.

The Nevada basketball program may not be a powerhouse, but Martin has been able to use the biggest stage in the sport to improve his future in basketball. Likely, Martin will not be a highly touted prospect. Jonathan Givony of ESPN ranks him 85th in his latest top 100.

But if he can continue this miraculous run, he will have the attention of NBA scouts.

Kevin Knox, Kentucky Wildcats

Thursday vs. Kansas State, 9:37 p.m./CBS

In his first NCAA tournament game against the Davidson Wildcats, Kevin Knox could not be stopped.

He dropped 25 points and six rebounds in one of the most impressive performances in the round of 64. Knox could not repeat the performance against the Buffalo Bulls, but the Kentucky Wildcats beat them handily in the following round.

Luckily for Knox and the Wildcats, their road to the Final Four appears relatively easy. They are the favorites according to the tournament seeding and face off against 9-seed Kansas State Wildcats in the Sweet Sixteen.

There is a chance that both these Wildcats stars could face-off in an intriguing Elite Eight matchup.
