How will Jonathan Isaac affect negotiations?

Zach: I wonder if the front office is intentionally waiting to see how Jonathan Isaac plays before they decide what to do with Aaron Gordon?

Philip: That is a really good question, Zach. A lot of people thought Isaac was the “wrong” pick because of his overlap with Gordon. I think this team believes they can play together. But that gets into the same “Is Isaac a 3?” question that got Gordon trapped last season.

Zach: To me, Isaac is a bit more fluid on both ends than Gordon. It should allow him to possibly play some 3 more effectively than Gordon.

Philip: What will be interesting to see will be whether these two can play together. I am still unsure what Isaac is. So maybe waiting is valid.
