7. Eastern Road Trip #1… And Minnesota (Nov. 22-27)

In late November, the Magic head out for their second road trip of the season.

With a four-game road trip starting on the Nov. 22 matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves and then moving to the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and finally finishing on the 27th against the Indiana Pacers, the Orlando Magic will face Eastern Conference opponents who they will be able to gauge themselves against.

Starting off the road trip with two improved teams in Minnesota and Boston, Orlando will have to start this road trip on their best game. If they can weather that storm, they have a chance to take advantage in the Eastern Conference standings with some very winnable games against Philadelphia and Indiana.

The great thing about this road trip is that it happens in November.

That means, if things do not go well for the Magic, they will still have time to recover and adjust their performance. On the flip side, if they win a solid amount of these games they have a chance to position themselves in a very good standing in the Eastern Conference early on in the season.

With a tough schedule down the stretch, it will be important for the Magic to get that good standing in the conference early on. A solid November will help push the Magic into the new year with confidence and a record to back them up.

This road trip is tough, but it should give the Magic a sense of where they are at and provide a potential confidence boost.
