Feb. 6: vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

When LeBron James comes to town, there is always a buzz. The Cleveland Cavaliers have had no problems beating the Magic of late. But it is still great to see the best player on the planet.

As for the rest of James’ team, things may change if Kyrie Irving is shipped out of town. For now, the only notable addition is the one of Derrick Rose, who may see a career revival with James on his side.

Surprisingly, the Cavaliers have won a whopping 17 games in a row against the Magic. Even before James rejoined the Cavs, the Magic have had a hard time against them, including a statistically improbable collapse.

James will come to town to open up a three-game homestand for Orlando in early February (the Cavaliers also visit in early January). Although the Magic will be heavy underdogs when this game comes around, playing the defending Eastern Conference champions will make headlines around the city.

If the Magic are anywhere near the playoff picture, a win here would give them legitimacy in the race. Hopefully, the Magic can overachieve and get a sneaky victory in the middle of the season.
