Filling a crucial need

Free agency is a very fluid situation, so it is hard to say who will be in the Magic’s price range.

Price will be the biggest factor moving forward. It is possible trades will present themselves as teams try to clear cap space. The Magic have to be ready to take advantage.

There has been a lot of talk in the offseason about building a culture, and that starts with reputable veteran players. There are plenty of those veteran players to explore in the shooting guard free agent market.

Even though the Magic have Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross capable of handling the position, the team could certainly use an upgrade. The Magic could use an upgrade everywhere. Find a veteran to help off the bench like a Vince Carter or Kyle Korver would be a big boost to the team in ways on and off the court.
