Dwayne Bacon, Florida State

Dwayne Bacon is a very capable scorer from all over the floor. He is best in transition especially when he is pushing the ball from end to end.

Bacon is even more interesting when you consider he played with Jonathan Isaac with the Florida State Seminoles. The Magic could possibly take Isaac with the sixth pick.

The chemistry they have already started could continue in the NBA, which would be similar to Efrid Payton and Aaron Gordon’s time spent together before the Magic drafted them.

While he is very capable at scoring, Bacon is a streaky scorer. He is also not great off the ball or in catch and shoot situations. Taking a gamble on Bacon might be the biggest gamble of those listed here.

Considering the Magic pretty much have their starters figured out with Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross. Drafting Bacon as a project for down the line or off the bench would not be the worst thing.

The Magic will look for more depth in free agency and are hopeful Mario Hezonja will take a leap after his second year under Frank Vogel.
