"The leaked whiteboard images got a little overblown, yes it was sloppy to allow it but there was nothing on that board that most teams don’t have on their brainstorming boards. That said, no GM is on a hotter seat than Rob Hennigan in Orlando (think of the Serge Ibaka trades alone and you see why), and with a front office change would certainly come some roster changes. Going to be an interesting summer in Orlando."

The whole story for the Orlando Magic right now is what they do this summer. And that part is probably the most uncertain. It is hard to say. There is no identity. No core players. And a lot of question marks about everything on the roster.

It almost feels like a whole rebuild is in order. But fans are restless in the middle of their longest Playoff drought in franchise history.

Whatever direction they go, it will certainly rely on the team’s upcoming high lottery pick. And it will largely go in the direction their new front office likely wants to pull them. The Magic can truly start from scratch. But it is hard to say whether that will take them anywhere.

It certainly will not without getting an influx of talent first. And os all eyes will turn to the Draft once the season ends.
