16. John Collins, PF Wake Forest

John Collins is an old-school post player. He has learned the nuances of the game from his coach and former NBA player, Danny Manning. He is a crafty offensive player in the paint.  He rebounds and gives a good effort. His jump shot does not extend out to even the college 3-point line. And he is not a good free throw shooter. But he has the potential to be not only a defensive anchor, but a post threat on offense too.

17. Caleb Swanigan,  PF Purdue

Caleb Swaningan is the model of heart and determination. He is a strong player who has shown some increased range on his jump shot. He is a great rebounder. He struggled somewhat with turnovers at Purdue, but he will not have the same play-making duties in NBA.

18. Edrice ‘Bam’ Adebayo, PF Kentucky

Bam Adebayo is ready for the physical play of the NBA. He is a good rebounder and defensive player. He did not show any kind of post game in college, but Kentucky did not have the shooters to give him room to operate. He never complained about a lack of shots, and still did his job. If Adebayo embraces the defensive end and rebounding him impact may surprise people.

19. OG Anunoby, SF Indiana

OG Anunoby is somewhat of an unknown. He burst on the scene toward the end of last season and was projected as first-rounder last season. But he wanted to come back to school to develop. He hurt his knee early in this season, so he never got a chance to show that development. In his brief time on the court, Anunoby effectively guarded every other position in college. He also has shown some range on his 3-point shot, so he is a potential coveted, ‘three and d’ specialist.

20. Justin Jackson, SF North Carolina

Justin Jackson was thought to be a one-and-done coming out of high school. When he did not come out after his freshman year, it seems like his opportunity has been lost. Jackson has flaws to his game, but he is long and a knock-down shooter. That is enough to get a chance.  Jackson is a high basketball IQ guy, who coincidentally always seems to win.
