11. Justin Patton, C Creighton

Justin Patton had a late growth spurt, so he has only been 7-feet tall a few years. He shows potential for a jump shot as he is not afraid to take college threes.  Patton has great upside, but should be able to contribute immediately with rim rolls and defense.

12. Harry Giles, PF Duke

Harry Giles presents a dilemma. Giles is a top talent, but he has undergone reconstructive surgery on both of his knees and struggled through his lone season at Duke. When healthy he is a complete big man. He rebounds, defends, and posts up. In high school, he dominated the interior in a way that was a throwback to a different era.  But can he be that player again?

13. Miles Bridges, SF Michigan State

Miles Bridges may intimidate players already in the league because he is put together. He is not only strong, but explosive as well. He is a good rebounder. Plus he comes from Michigan State, so he has to be tough. Bridges has the strength, but not the ideal height for a power forward. His game is all about power currently, but a small forward in the NBA has to have finesse. So that potential adjustment could be a concern.

14. Jarrett Allen, C Texas

Jarrett Allen is a young, mobile big man. He is far from close to a finished product, but the potential is there. Allen is a good athlete and a good shot blocker. His offensive game is a work in progress, but he is young. Allen seemed to get pushed around in college, so he has to get much stronger before he is ready for NBA action.

15. T.J. Leaf, PF UCLA

T.J. Leaf has the complete offensive package.  He can shoot from range, he finishes in traffic, and he has a good feel for the game. Leaf’s movement on offense gets him easy baskets. Leaf’s issue will be defense.  He will have to get stronger, but with his basketball IQ, his liabilities could be covered with a strong team defensive concept.
