"So close to a promising week for the Orlando Magic. Their 11-point shocker over Miami was a nice bounce-back from an 11-point loss to the Knicks, but when they had a 17-point lead on the Wizards in Sunday’s matchup, they let it slip through their fingers."

The good news this week is even with all the losses there are positive signs. Coach Frank Vogel has said there are positive signs to point to as well. And the team is holding onto the positives.

As has been stated numerous times, the Magic’s fast-breaking style has created more offense. The defense seems to be more connected, if not still a bit overeager. And the team looks like a functioning modern team.

They still lack that extra kick. Depth is an issue and some players do not exactly fit perfectly so far. This is all part of what the Magic have to learn about their team the rest of this season.

There will be hiccups. It is partially encouraging Orlando has had a lead in the fourth quarter of almost every game since the All-Star Break. At least the blowouts have largely stopped.

But the Magic do have to stop losing these leads. They have to start winning eventually.
