Phoenix Suns

The Orlando Magic are desperately trying to find a starting point guard upgrade and the Phoenix Suns have two players fighting for that position. The Suns have Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight fighting for minutes and the Magic could use one of them to replace Elfrid Payton in the starting lineup

Bledsoe would be the dream scenario for Magic fans if these two teams could work out a deal.

The only issue is the Suns would probably want a great deal to let Bledsoe go. Bledsoe is only 26 years old and he is under contract for another two more years. The Magic would have to give up Mario Hezonja, Elfrid Payton and possibly a first round pick to even get the Suns to show some interest in having a trade discussion.

The Magic are desperate enough they may be willing to engage in such a discussion and try to make a trade work.

The other option would be for the Magic to pursue a less costly option in Brandon Knight.

Knight is a scoring-minded point guard, who has had success in this league.  Knight is only 26 years old and he is under contract for three more years.
