Golden State Warriors. 1. team. 41. Kevin Durant clearly has the ability to stay focused through the drama, as he’s averaged 37.7 points on 66 percent shooting (15-for-24 from 3-point range) in three games against the Thunder. The Warriors have scored better than 120 points per 100 possessions in five of their last six games (with <strong><a rel=. (46-8). Previous:

28. team. 66. The Suns had Alex Len suspended and lost <strong><a rel=. (17-38). Previous: . Phoenix Suns

38. It remains difficult to understand what the plan is with the Magic, either short-term or long-term. Their four-game losing streak includes three losses by 24 points or more and another to the Embiid-less Sixers. Mario Hezonja was freed and got his first two starts of the season last week, but <strong><a rel=. (20-36). Previous: . Orlando Magic. 29. team

147. The Nets’ latest losing streak (12 games) has topped their previous one (11). Eight of the 12 games have been within five points in the last five minutes, they continue to come back from double-digit deficits, and they rank 14th defensively since the streak began. But they’ve shot 1-for-19 on clutch 3-pointers and <strong><a rel=. (9-45). Previous: . Brooklyn Nets. 30. team

The Orlando Magic’s short-term plan for 2017 certainly took a big hit. The results just did not come as expected when the Magic remade their roster. And so everyone’s confusion from the summer remained.

Where Orlando goes from here has to have a vision for the long term. The Magic need to use this trade deadline to make their future just a little bit clearer.

That likely means cutting their losses.
