The Orlando Magic went from promising team everyone wanted to watch to confusing mess full of uncertainty. Still, the Magic have plenty of reasons to watch.

Leading into the 2017 NBA season, the Orlando Magic have often found themselves near the bottom in League Pass Power Rankings, and other similar lists. However, with explosive, impact players like Aaron Gordon, Mario Hezonja, Bismack Biyombo and Serge Ibaka, the Orlando Magic are a team that NBA fans should be sure not to miss.

Just less than a year ago, the Orlando Magic were hailed as one of the League Pass teams everyone should watch. The excitement of a young, athletic squad that included Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris and Aaron Gordon was one that enthralled fans of all loyalties. With their fast-placed play and thrilling games — such as the double-overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in November — they were a must-see team on the rise.

Just one season later, the Magic find themselves near the bottom of these same rankings, with Zach Lowe placing them in 23rd — although he does note that he was ‘stoked’ to watch the Magic this season.

Awkward to watch in the halfcourt, and coming off a relatively disappointing preseason, the team is perhaps seen as lacking something of the spark they possessed last season.

That said, just beyond the surface, there is cause for optimism. There are a number of exciting variables that could make any Magic game must-see television — ranging from the high-flying acrobatics, to the daredevil play of Mario Hezonja and the block party Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo are bringing to the Magic Kingdom.

So, here are fives reasons why the Orlando Magic should be a League Pass team for any NBA fan in 2017.
