Adam Waczynski

Adam Waczynski is not a name that rolls off the tongue. It probably is not even a name American fans are familiar with. Not at all actually.

He went undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Poland. By then he had already won four Polish League championships and two Polish cup championships. He was coming off a season where he was named the Polish league’s most improved player.

His improvement has continued as he has moved on to Spain to play for Obradoira CAB.

Waczynski averaged 14.9 points per game last year making 41.5 percent of his 3-pointers, shooting about five per game. This guy is a shooter. And that is something the Magic could always use.

There is no word if he is interested in coming over to the NBA. But if there was a time to test those waters, now is the time. At 26 years old, he is entering his prime and is playing the best basketball of his career with back-to-back strong seasons in Liga ACB in Spain. He probably is not going to agree to play in the D-League, but he probably deserves a look from some NBA team.
