Orlando Magic Player Evaluations: C.J. Watson
By Zach Palmer
Best game of 2016
vs. Miami April 8
7 points, 3/5 FGs
Watson’s best game came against the Miami Heat on April 8. While his stats were not impressive (seven points, two rebounds and one assist), Watson made the biggest play of his young Magic career.
Watson hit a step-back 3-pointer with with less than two minutes to go to extend Orlando’s lead to four (he also added another layup to pad Orlando’s lead).
Watson got some good burn that game running up 29 minutes and did a great job of filling in for an injured Victor Oladipo late in the game and played admirable defense on Goran Dragic and Josh Richardson.
