Tuesday, March 8: @ Los Angeles Lakers

So the Orlando Magic see both sides of the historical Sunday afternoon matchup straight away.

The Los Angeles Lakers, really, should be the easiest game for every team aside from the Philadelphia 76ers. The Magic luck stays consistent however: this will be the most confident the Lakers have been all season. They already have nothing to lose and will now be brimming with sorely needed pride and a desire to put in a repeat performance after upsetting the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

And in all fairness, the Lakers looked good.

Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell were both very active in the passing lanes and lethal on offense. Add in an active Julius Randle and supporting pieces . . . this is a pesky team.

Of course, a loss to the Phoenix Suns and the Lakers in the same week is legally grounds for moving the team to Alaska.

However good the Lakers looked on Sunday, the Magic need to instill some pride and take care of business.
