The Magic are showing confidence, and seem to be back to being able to hang tight with tough teams!

After a promising week that included the Magic beating the Boston Celtics and nearly beating the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team followed it up with a stellar week of play.

The Magic played a great three quarters at home against the Atlanta Hawks, and despite blowing the lead, they did not crumple down the stretch. The key plays at the end went their way, which has not happened much in 2016, and they won on a Nikola Vucevic buzzer beater.

The next night started off very poorly in Atlanta, but the team fought back and won in overtime. The next game against the San Antonio Spurs had a great first three quarters as well.

Unfortunately, the Magic collapsed again and this time Kawhi Leonard hit a heavily contested jumper with 0.9 seconds remaining to put the Spurs ahead for good.

Despite losing that game, the players should be proud of the progress they have made recently. If they continue to play at the level they did this past week, the Magic will continue to be right in the discussion for the last playoff spot.
