The model comparisons

The model found these players to be the closest to Frye in those five stats.

The number below their names is their distance to Frye in the model. The players with the lowest numbers are the most similar to Frye statistically.

I was a little surprised by some of these players.

A lot of them are guards, and most of them are role players. This perhaps gives an outlook of what the ideal role for Frye is: an outside-shooting rotation player.

One interesting result was that Jared Dudley came up as one of the similar players. Dudley has had a lot of success the past two years in the role the Magic had hoped Frye would thrive in: a veteran stretch four who can help his teammates grow.
