Elfrid Payton

Naturally, guards are better suited for this event, which is why Payton is the most likely participant, although the three point shooting in this event may slow him down, he is the Magic’s best chance at winning this event.

Last year, Payton lost in the first round to Jeff Teague. So at least he has some experience.

It appears this year though the league will infuse some big men into the competition this year.

Victor Oladipo

Already competing with fellow draft class member Micheal-Carter Williams in 2014, Oladipo could get a shot at redemption this year. After all, the Magic did experiment with him at point guard a couple times already this season.

He obviously has versatile skills that play well in this kind of a competition.

Mario Hezonja

There are not many playmaking guards on the Magic, and Hezonja seems to be the next man up.

After he was quoted saying point guard is his natural position, why not prove it on the big stage? Lately, he has been getting some minutes as the backup point guard, with the Magic struggling finding something solid for this position, with Shabazz Napier failing to succeed, and C.J. Watson nowhere to be found with a leg injury, figuratively speaking, of course.
