Nikola Vucevic and the Orlando Magic are preparing to travel to London next week to take on the Toronto Raptors. He recently spoke about the upcoming trip.

Eds. Note: Orlando Magic Daily is happy to announce we will have credentialed media on the ground at NBA London 2016.

No we did not win the lottery, United Kingdom-based NBA journalist James Plowright will be covering the game on behalf of Orlando Magic Daily. He will be listening in on conference calls, attending practices and shootarounds in London and getting exclusive interviews with a number of Magic players and coaches about their trip to London.

If you have any questions for him Tweet him on @JPlowright_NBA. And be sure to follow his work in general at The Lottery Mafia.

First up, Nikola Vucevic took part in a global conference call ahead of the Magic’s trip to the other side of the pond.

(Q): You guys have quite a tough looking schedule ahead of making you way over to London: Cleveland, Indiana in the next two games. Can you just discuss how you guys will plan and prepare to play and put on a great show in front of a sold out London crowd.

Vucevic: Well we have to make sure we treat it as a business trip and not as a tourist trip when we go to London. Toronto is in our conference, they’re one of the best teams and are fighting for the top spots in the East. We’re trying to prove ourselves and make the playoffs this year having had a couple of tough seasons so it’s going to be an important trip for us and as you said we’ve got a tough schedule before we head there so we’re gonna have to make sure that we’re ready to play when we get there.
