The Orlando Magic played with very little energy and got beat by a more hungry and hustling Detroit Pistons team. There was again not much positive to take.

It was a third straight game where the Orlando Magic played without much energy and fell behind early. It was the third straight game where the Magic looked lifeless defensively. And Orlando paid the consequences for it.

Detroit went on a 19-2 run to start the fourth quarter, burying Orlando and sending the team to into a spiral. The Pistons just kept laying it on again and again.

Orlando was caught beaten by a team sharing and moving the ball and parading into the lane on pick and rolls. Detroit attacked the glass hard and Orlando let bad play multiply and compound.

It was not a clean effort at all for the Magic with few good individual efforts and a lackluster team effort.

For the first time since the first three games of the season, the Magic have lost three in a row. This time, it feels like the team has some serious questions about itself it needs to answer.
