The Orlando Magic wrapped up their West Coast trip continuing to want to reach higher. But inconsistency crept in and left some questions unanswered.
The Orlando Magic left Orlando on a high. The team had won three straight games and had seemed to turn the corner. They won those games on defense and won them relatively comfortably.
The Magic were playing well entering an important stage of the season. They were ready to push off and make their big stand on the West Coast trip. This was a trip that in many ways would help guide the next phase of the season and perhaps the rest of the season.
From a record standpoint, the Magic went 3-2 on the road trip. But they came home a little shaky still. Orlando lost three of its last four games now and there are some questions lingering about the team.
Questions the Magic will have to resolve on their home court the rest of the month. This was the point in the season where the Magic struggled and lost momentum last year.
This team is in position to compete for a Playoff spot. Orlando is teetering though with bad habits and inconsistency continuing to creep in. The next phase of the season will be critical.
