After a rough week, the Orlando Magic look to bounce back this week with games against four teams including the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets.
The Orlando Magic are coming off a disheartening week last week that saw the team lose three out of its past four games and come home from the West Coast trip with an embarrassing home performance.
The Magic eked out a win against the lowly Denver Nuggets in which they could not shoot for toffee (unless at the basket), lost a close one to the Phoenix Suns to close the West Coast trip and then got washed away by the Cleveland Cavaliers. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of Magic fans, who saw their team go on a great winning streak in the week’s previous.
HOWEVER, though the homecoming was not all they wanted, the Magic do face one of the nicer parts of the schedule in coming weeks.
With four games this week (but no back-to-backs, with thanks to the scheduling gods), Orlando has plenty of opportunity to right the ship and showcase its progression yet again.
Climbing the standings would not be too shabby either, and thanks to the current situation in the Eastern Conference (the ninth seed is 2.5 games behind the first), the Magic are just 3.5 games back of first place into the entire conference.
One good week can make all the difference.
