
The Orlando Magic completed a strong second week of the season, going 3-4. They did that with a little bit of everything as things trend upward.
The Orlando Magic got off the schneid early last week. No, the 0-82 dream is as dead as the 82-0 dream — and probably the 78-4 dream while we are at it.
This past week saw the Magic play four games in five nights and win three of those four games. Two of those three came on the road. The Magic played with a lot of fire and passion, making mistakes but still finding a way to compete despite them.
There have been rotation questions. There have been questions about slumps, bouncebacks and roles. There has been the first injury of the season.
The last week did not lead to any conclusions of where the Magic will be when April arrives, but it certainly got the Magic moving in the right direction.
The schedule has begun to lighten up — at least on paper — and the Magic can begin building confidence and building on the things they have accomplished so far.
In the process, the Magic have become something of a League Pass darling. The nation is starting to take notice. The Magic are spending their time proving they deserve that praise.
Once again we gathered our staff together to take stock of what we learned about the team this past week. Responses were written before Monday’s game against Indiana.
