Elfrid Payton finally had his breakout game and grades out well in the Orlando Magic’s 105-97 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

It was not pretty. But a W is a W.

The Orlando Magic did not come out of the gates strong, but they did manage to sneak out a victory against the Philadelphia 76ers 105-97.

There were lots of pockets of strong play from the Magic throughout as they built as much as a 15-point lead in the first half. The 76ers, as they often do, kept fighting and cut in the deficit.

It was an ugly slog as neither team was particularly sharp. The Magic made some shaky plays late, but had the shots to finish the game and off and seal their third win in the last four games.
