Tobias Harris, and the top 10 finishes of the last 10 years
This play is a quintessential Tobias Harris play.
Get the ball. Clear out. Let him go to work. Make a tough shot.
These are the players that make Tobias Harris frustrating sometimes but also make him a really good player to have in these situations.
Harris has a decent amount of these game winners but this one was one of his own making. The dunk against the Thunder was about his hustle (and Oladipo’s hustle and Harkless’ reticence to shot). The shot against the Sixers was a strong play design and execution from all involved.
This was Harris just making a play.
Harris explained the play to Complex:
A lot certainly went into it. Harris’ determination to make up for his mistakes is admirable and is a big part of Harris and his personality.
With his new contract in tow, there should be a few more memorable moments from Harris coming down the pike.
