5) Bo Outlaw

Bo Outlaw is a shining example of how little statistics matter. He put up meager numbers across the board but when he was on the court, his hard work became contagious in the “Heart and Hustle” era which produced no major playoffs runs, but was a collection of hard-working players determined to make the most of their talents.

Outlaw did just that.

His defensive numbers are adequate proof of his prowess on the court. Outlaw averaged 3.6 blocks/steals during his career and his durability was beyond comprehension. Outlaw played 80 games or more in nine different seasons.  Outlaw never became a scorer really, but he did post more than 10 points per game while as a member of the L.A. Clippers.

Besides all of this, he was one of the best dunkers in the video game “NBA Live 95.”  He could take off from just about anywhere with his 98 dunking rating. It did not really mirror the real Outlaw. But who cares? reward the man for his pogo stick legs somehow.
