Work on the glass

Dedmon is also a strong rebounder, which can help the team significantly.

He grabbed about 19.3 percent of all available rebounds, including 23.5 percent on the offensive end and 15.3 percent on the defensive end.

His stellar offensive rebounding can especially help bolster the offense if he improves his confidence and touch on putback opportunities. He hit 41 of his 71 putback attempts, and the team scored 1.03 points per possession off his putback chances.

That will be important as he looks to get himself involved and make himself valuable on offense, perhaps his biggest weakness.

Dedmon is not the rebounder Nikola Vucevic is, but with his defensive strength it is an important part for him to continue developing as he carves out a role on the team.
