Free Agents:

A-.
<a href=. PG. Orlando Magic. C.J. WATSON

B.
Appling likely will not get much playing time, but he worked hard in Summer League and earned a spot on the roster. He brings a great work ethic and defensive potential, and showed some scoring potential in Summer League, shooting 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three, and 86.5 percent from the line.

There is no risk attached to this move, and hopefully Appling can show the potential to be a contributor in the league.
. PG. Orlando Magic. KEITH APPLING

C.
I am not sure Smith made sense for the team. He is an inferior inside scorer and defender.

He can score from mid-range and shot a career high in 3-point percentage last season, but the team likely overpaid for this skill, especially after <a href=. PF/C. Orlando Magic. JASON SMITH
