Best Game of 2015

Feb. 6 vs. Lakers
34 pts., 14/18 FGs, 7 rebs.

Tobias Harris sometimes puts together games that make you really believe in his offense. Maybe not to be a number one option every game, but certainly more often than not.

And then sometimes Harris is capable of putting up some monster games where the points just come easily for him. He is good for one or two games like that every year.

Harris took advantage of a favorable matchup in demolishing the Los Angeles Lakers and delivering James Borrego his first win as interim head coach. The numbers really speak for themselves with 34 points on an extremely efficient 14-for-18 shooting.

It is really rare when Harris gets the kind of shots he was getting that night.

He took five shots at the rim and was efficient everywhere from inside the 3-point line. His only weak area was missing two 3-pointers from the top of the key.

You could see Harris’ eyes light up when Ryan Kelly was defending him. And he took it to him time and time again.

There was a lot of energy in the building that night obviously with the coaching change and, to some extent, the Lakers being in town. Harris made the most of it, delivering the Magic a big victory to start off James Borrego’s coaching tenure.

Harris had one of those games, taking advantage of the favorable matchup.
