C.
If you made it this far, you probably can sense the difficulty in judging Luke Ridnour’s season.
<div class=. PG. Orlando Magic. LUKE RIDNOUR

He did what he was very capable of doing in this season. He steadied the ship and was a consistent player for the Magic throughout the season. But he did not do what the position he was brought in called for. Namely, be a spearhead for the Magic’s second unit and help maintain things in the backcourt.

Ridnour was consistent but unspectacular. And the Magic needed a little bigger push. Blame Rob Hennigan for not filling that position. Blame Ridnour for being put in a role he was always not going to fill.

It is pretty unclear whether Ridnour will even be in the NBA next season.

He certainly can still play in the NBA for stretches and hold his own. But he is not going to make much of an impact.

He did not make too big of an impact with the Magic this season. Predictably, it seems both sides need to think about moving on and the Magic need someone a little more impactful as a backup point guard.
