Leaks of new uniforms for the 2016 season came out Wednesday. The Orlando Magic are not due any new uniforms and will keep the Pride jerseys around.

There will be no changes to the Orlando Magic’s uniform set, leaks to UniWatch and SportsLogos.net revealed Wednesday. Additionally, a team source informed Orlando Magic Daily the Magic plan to wear their silver Pride Jerseys next season too.

As part of the uniform leak, mock-ups of every team’s potential Christmas jerseys were unveiled.

The Orlando Magic have not played on Christmas since Dwight Howard was on the roster — the season-opening loss to Oklahoma City in the lockout-shortened 2012 season. And really only the relevant teams get the honor of playing on the NBA’s marquee holiday day of games.

Do not expect the Magic, barring something really unforeseen on the trade front, to be playing December 25, 2015.

There will be a full slate of games and the NBA and adidas got ready by mocking up special Christmas jerseys for each NBA team, including the Magic. And overall, you have to like what you see.

Paul Lukas of Uni Watch shared the Christmas jerseys and the Magic’s looks pretty solid:

The classic font is meant to evoke the fancy fonts you would see on a Christmas card. The color is supposed to be off-white too. And note the seal NBA logo. It definitely feels very Christmas-y.

More from Lukas:

"The heavy use of cream, instead of white, is meant to evoke a feeling of parchment. Strictly speaking, it’s not cream — it’s greige. I initially thought that this was a nonsense term cooked up by the Adidas marketing department — a contraction of grey and beige — but it turns out it’s a real term for fabric that’s neither dyed nor bleached. The plan is for the NBA to feature this as a sustainability storyline — “Hey, no dyes!” That’s ridiculous, of course: If you really want to promote sustainability, just wear your regular uniforms on Christmas instead of creating a set of disposable one-day designs."

So it will be interesting to see these uniforms in action. As noted, no sleeves is a good thing and these actually look like uniforms you could wear around and wear outside of Christmas.

This was the first bit of uniform news to drop Wednesday.

adidas also released their catalog with some more jersey information for the 2016 season. The Magic are not getting any new uniforms or throwbacks, it appears:

The Magic according to these industry followers are not due for any new jerseys this upcoming season. A team source told Orlando Magic Daily the Magic intend to wear their silver Pride jerseys next season after unveiling them in the 2015 season.

The Magic will keep their main set — the home whites, the road blues, the alternate blacks and the silver Pride uniforms — for the 2016 season. They are not slated for any throwback Hardwood Classic uniforms either.

The Magic have a nice uniform set. Most people like the pinstripes and the set they have. The sleeved silver jerseys are not the most popular in the world, but there are much worse jersey sets out there.
