Orlando Magic Grades: New York Knicks 80, Orlando Magic 79
By Zach Palmer
There are bad losses, then there are really bad losses. This was worse than both of those. This was the worst loss of the season for the Orlando Magic.
The Magic and Knicks combined to put together a nearly unwatchable game. They managed to put together the worst scoring quarter in NBA history with a combined 15 points in the second quarter. The Magic played like they (a 25-55 team) could just flip a switch and beat this awful Knicks team.
They almost did.
The problem here is that tonight was Fan Appreciation Night, and this Magic team has not shown nearly enough good play to try and pull off what 50-win teams tend to do so often.
Tonight, like many others, left fans infuriated and confused. A lot of guys never mentally checked in tonight and their grades are going to reflect it.
