The Magic have certainly showed a lot of good signs under James Borrego. How they respond from the three-game losing streak could be key to any success they can have in the win column down the stretch.

Yes, the Magic nearly won games against the Heat and the Hawks, two Playoff-quality teams in the Eastern Conference. But they also had second-half leads in both those games. Particularly the Miami game, Orlando could not finish at all. That game was more or less won.

The loss Sunday to Charlotte was a sign of maybe things heading the wrong direction. The team got thoroughly beaten for the first time in a few weeks. We will see how the team responds Wednesday against Phoenix.
