Previous: . Orlando Magic. 28. team. 38. The Magic have have lost 14 of their last 16 games and had the second worst defense in January. Jacque Vaughn may pay the price and the remaining schedule could make a new coach look good if they figure out how to win at home (where they’re 5-17). After they visit the Thunder and Spurs, they’ll have eight more home games (19) than road games (11)..

The Magic, again, have been bad. Schumann named the Magic his “Zero Team of the Week” for the second straight week after an 0-3 last week.
The home schedule has been particularly puzzling. The Magic are getting blown out at home routinely and are struggling to pick up wins. Maybe the pressure is off on the road. Maybe it is just in their heads.
Orlando will have tons of home games the rest of the season, particularly in March, and so there is (theoretically) a chance to make up wins. That is, if the Magic start returning to the mean when it comes to home games.
