Ah, yes, the writing on the wall. We all see it coming. It is hard to ignore.

The lack of “competitive spirit” or whatever you want to call it points to the coach. That is the easiest thing to change and the spur of all energy and motivation. Whatever Vaughn is doing has not been working, other than enticing players to score more.

The lack of bringing defense to accompany the offense has signaled the problems as much as anything. This was a team that was built to be strong defensively. So where is it?
