team. 38. Somehow, the Orlando Magic beat the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets in back to back games last week. They then proceed to turnaround and then lose to the Memphis Grizzlies before getting absolutely throttled by the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Magic is the epitome of a young, talented NBA team. Some days they look absolutely loaded, the next night they look downright average. Some of that is the lack of consistency on the part of the players, and another part of that is just a rough schedule, as we saw with Orlando this past week. Nevertheless, with <strong><a href=. . Cautious optimism seems to be the theme here. Again, that seems to be the theme for much of this season. Things were going well for the Magic, and then all of a sudden they were not. Go figure what to make of all that.

That is somewhat expected. But the general sense here is the Magic are on the rise. They are playing better and getting better. And getting Aaron Gordon should make them better too. At least, theoretically.
