There is an obvious need at power forward that the Orlando Magic will have to solve in the NBA Draft. Here are some early suggestions.

If the draft were held today and things went according to team standings only, the Orlando Magic would select No. 8 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft. And it is never too early to start thinking about the Draft.

This year’s crop is thick, and the team will have some options. There is the possibility to stack the frontcourt with the options potentially declaring in this draft.

It seems Orlando’s biggest need right now is frontcourt fortification. The Magic still need more rim protection and scoring from the power forward slot. Another lockdown defender would be nice at small forward — that could be filled by Aaron Gordon when he returns healthy.

This draft offers all such possibilities, and general manager Rob Hennigan is showing a rather deft ability to snag the best talent, both through the draft and via trades.

The best four options available to the Magic that appear in their draft range for the moment are Karl-Anthony Towns, Trey Lyles, Montrezl Harris and Kristaps Porzingis of Latvia.

What do we think of these early options so far?
